The extension opens the back of the house onto the garden with full-width sliding doors and a glazed gable above, so the vaulted ceiling feels open and bright. A flat rooflight over the kitchen adds daylight from above.
Inside, a sweeping curved island with fluted panels and a natural stone worktop faces a full-height stone splashback, making the kitchen the centrepiece of the new space.
What we did
Designed and built by one team
Structural design
Structural calculations and drawings for the vaulted roof, the glazed gable and the wide opening to the garden, together with the foundations and the connection to the existing house.
Construction
Our team built the extension to the approved design, from groundworks through to the finished shell, ready for the kitchen fit-out.
